THIS WILL AVOID YOUR ASIGNED CLASS(ES) FROM BEING OVER SUBSCRIBED OR CANCELLED. JUNIOR DANCE (ages 3 - 6 Yrs.) The Junior Dance program is unique to The Dance Place. Created by Jacque Foesier in 1968 the content of the classes have been continuously upgraded as the needs of today’s child demand. The program material incorporates Creative Dance, Music, Dance Games and stories encouraging group interaction and fun while improving co-ordination and balance. The Junior Dancers curriculum is divided into three levels which are specific to the physical requirements of each age group. Acceptance to the program is by assessment, recommendation, and/or audition. Only motivated dancers can be accepted into the program which requires dedication to the art of dance and a willingness to make a serious commitment on the part of dancers and sponsoring parents. Auditions for TDM will takes place at the Etobicoke & North York studios by appointment only. 416 633 2726 or e-mail thedanceplace@bellnet.ca All dancers attending must arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring a picture along with a $50.00 audition fee. This fee will be credited to the TDM account of each accepted dancer. Parents must sign a permission form for all auditioning dancers before they enter the audition room. Parents are not permitted in the audition. All decisions of the adjudication panel are final and are not open for discussion.
