Registration closes Thursday, September 20, 2012 Registration Information Everyone ages 3 yrs plus to adult may register for classes providing certain criteria are met and there are suitable classes for available. 1. If a candidate has had previous training and is new to the school, it is recommended they take a trial lesson for correct placement. A charge of $25.00 cash is made for this service, which is credited toward the tuition fee if and when a registration is completed. 2. Each person whose registration is accepted agrees to abide by and uphold the common principles of conduct as presented in the Terms of Acceptance. Ask for your copy at time of registration. 3. Contacting us; 416- 633-2726 Website: www.danceplace.ca About the School The Dance Place is a registered not for profit school for the performing arts founded in 2001 by Jacque and Jeanne Foesier; dedicated and passionate teachers who have been teaching the performance arts in Toronto since l958. The school is now governed by a Board of Directors expanding its mandate to establish scholarships and in cooperation with the professional dance community is creating opportunities for talented high achieving students and emerging Artists. A full selection of classes includes; Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Hip Hop, Modern Contemporary Dance and Musical Theatre. Dedicated and motivated students have the opportunity of preparing for internationally recognized I.S.T.D. Cecchetti examinations in Classical Ballet & School examinations in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. DONORS AND SPONSORS WHO WISH TO ESTABLISH BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS OR ENDOWMENTS WILL RECEIVE RECOGNITION AS APPROPRIATE TO THE GIFT MADE Competition Program Students who can qualify have the opportunity, with parental consent, of participating in “Toronto’s Dance Machine”, the competitive program of the school Location The Dance Place is conveniently located at 885 Sheppard Avenue West, with ample parking. Parking is at the sides and rear of the building and is easily accessed from Wilson Heights Blvd., and Sheppard Ave. TTC buses stop near the door, The school is a short walk from the Dufferin subway station. |
